The video features footage of Carolina for Kibera soccer tournaments, the national championship-winning UNC Women's Soccer Team, and scenes from the famous movie Bend It Like Beckham.
In a chance encounter in Nairobi, CFK Vice President Peter Dixon met the producer of Sarah McLachlan's World on Fire music video. Ms McLachlan donated an amount of money equal to that of video production costs to the organizations profiled. Ms McLachlan donated $30,000 to Carolina for Kibera, enabling CFK leadership to purchase a new medical clinic and buy medical supplies.
